Registration for ICTC 3.0 is open until 31st October 2025
About Programs
The International Materials Technology Challenge (iMTC) 10.0 and the Innocreative Technology Challenge (ICTC) 3.0 are innovation competitions held in conjunction with ICSSST2025. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase and exchange their groundbreaking ideas to address issues in the field of materials technology, competing for medals and special awards.
This year, the venues for both programs are different: iMTC 10.0 will be held at Cameron Highlands alongside ICSSST2025, while ICTC 3.0 will take place at Universiti Putra Malaysia.
Innocreative Technology Challenge (ICTC) 3.0
We are excited to invite you to participate in the Innocreative Technology Challenges 3.0 (ICTC 3.0) 2025, held in conjunction with the 10th International Conference on Solid State Science and Technology (ICSSST 2025). Co-organised by the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science, Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and the Malaysian Solid-State Science and Technology Society (MASS), this innovation competition will take place on 27th November 2025 at Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail, Universiti Putra Malaysia (Serdang Campus), Selangor, Malaysia.
Aligned with the theme “Bridging Materials and Digital Innovation”, ICTC 3.0 offers an engaging expo and poster competition aimed at fostering creativity and problem-solving in physics and digital technology. By presenting their own innovative projects, participants will explore how physics and digital innovation intersect to address real-world challenges, while developing scientific knowledge, critical thinking, and technological awareness.
While the competition is conducted primarily on-site at Kolej Tun Dr. Ismail (UPM), online participation is available for students from East Malaysia, international participants, or upon request.
Please be informed that PAJSK points will not be awarded for this competition.
A preliminary screening process will be conducted to identify the finalists, and the list of finalists will be officially announced on 6th November 2025.
